Grand Tetons

Thunder Storm
Looking across at the glacier capped peaks, I could see
the clouds were moving in on my hike around Jenny Lake.
I was forced to run back to the car because of the threat
rain, and I was ten miles in.

Teton Peaks
The clouds coming over the 13,000 foot peaks. The sky started
off blue that morning, but soon got ugly.

Water Fall
The eventual destination of my hike. This water fall is actually
much taller, I was just unable to get the whole thing into the
shot. Off to the left of the water fall was a cliff that climbers
were repelling from.

Jenny Lake
Same picture from the previous page. Jenny lake is at the base
of the Grand Tetons on the east side. There are numerous trails
all around it, but no roads that take you to the far side where
the mountains are. This makes it ideal for those that would rather
leave the car behind.
