Asbestos That Time Forgot

The sellers removed a junky carpet from the basement stairs, only to reveal additional asbestos tile. Just like the basement tile they had already removed. The terms of the Deal specified that no asbestos could be present in the house, so the asbestos guys came back and finished the job, getting paid out of escrow at the title company. Such is home improvement hell in sweet home Chicago!
